Welcome to Volkswagen eTraining.

eTraining is the new e-Learning platform provided by the International Training Center of Volkswagen.
For training purposes, eTraining is exclusively made available to selected members of the Volkswagen sales force in Europe.
If your country is participating in eTraining you will automatically receive your invitation and login information by your national training manager. If your country is not participating in the project yet or you do not automatically receive your login data you are unfortunately not entitled yet to use eTraining. In this case please contact your national training department to inform about possibilities how to participate in eTraining. 
By using the services on the Volkswagen eTraining websites (www.volkswagen-etraining.com and other related websites where this agreement appears), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Before you may participate in eTraining, you must read and accept all of the terms and conditions this User Agreement (consisting of the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions).

Conditions of Use
Volkswagen AG provides the information services presented here on the basis of these general Conditions of Use of the Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft Websites. By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Delivery of information services and related guarantees
Information contained on Volkswagen-etraining.com has been compiled by Volkswagen AG in a conscientious and thorough manner applying the due diligence. The information given is non-binding. Volkswagen AG provides no guarantee as to the results that can be obtained by using the information given, in particular with regard to its accuracy, currency and completeness, or in respect of whether the quality of information meets your needs and wishes. Any vehicle-related data and information presented on eTraining should be considered as representing approximations. Information given is subject to changes in design and supply, to amendment of the terms and conditions of sale of new vehicles, and to price changes.
2. Links to third-party websites
The Volkswagen AG websites include links to websites operated by third parties. Volkswagen AG lays no claim to ownership of the websites of third parties accessible by way of links, and is not responsible for their content.
3. Permissible use of services
In using these websites you must respect the copyright, name and trade mark rights, and all other proprietary rights, of third parties. All Volkswagen AG websites are protected for example, including the images, music and brand names appearing on them. This also applies to the proprietary rights of our affiliate companies. Neither these websites nor the Conditions of Use attaching to them should be understood as representing a license or as granting any other right to proprietary rights held by Volkswagen AG. You undertake not to misuse the services offered, in particular not to
- bypass any security measures implemented by the information services;
- nor to use any devices or run any applications which result in, or may result in, damage to the systems of Volkswagen AG or malfunction of them, in particular as a result of modifications to the physical or logical structure of the servers or the network of Volkswagen AG or of other networks;
- nor to integrate the information services, in whole or in part, into other Web content, whether private or commercial;
-nor to utilize the services for commercial profit.
4. Limited License for Use of Website Content
Volkswagen hereby grants to you the limited right to view, download, and print materials and documents displayed on the Website and included within the Website Content subject to the following:
(a) the Website Content may only be used for personal learning and general reference purposes related to your own personal, informational, non-commercial use; and
(b) the Website Content may not be transmitted, modified or altered in any way. No other use of Website Content is authorized. You may not otherwise use, download, upload, copy, print, display, frame, mirror, perform, reproduce, publish, license, post, transmit, modify, adapt, or distribute any Website Content in whole or in part without the prior express authorization of Volkswagen.
(c) the content of this training is not intented to be used in customer contact. Printing out or copying any kind of information, data, pictures, etc. in order to use it in direct customer communication is strictly forbidden.
Except as specified above, nothing contained herein shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel, or otherwise any license or right under any patent, trademark or copyright of Volkswagen or any third party and all copyright and other proprietary notices must be retained in the same form and manner as originally set forth in the Website Content. Upon termination of this limited license, you agree to immediately destroy any Website Content you previously downloaded or printed.
6. Acceptance of cookies
Volkswagen AG places cookies on your computer when you visit our websites. You can determine the extent to which cookies are enabled or disabled by means of settings on your computer (usually in your Web browser, such as Internet Explorer). Volkswagen AG assumes that you agree to cookies being placed on your computer if your browser is set to allow them. With regard to data protection, please refer to our Data Protection Declaration.
6. Links on Volkswagen pages
Setting Hyperlinks on Volkswagen websites like http://www.volkswagen .de or http://www.volkswagen-etraining.com is allowed if
- the link leads to opening a completely new window (no frames)
- Volkwagen AG was informed by e-mail on links@vw-online.de within 24 hours after setting the link
- links are clearly recognizable as links or the page referring to a Volkwagen website contains the information: “Link to Volkswagen AG”or the headline of the page referred to contains “Link to Volkswagen AG”
Links diverting from that standard require permission of Volkswagen.
Volkswagen reserves the right to withdraw this permission even if formal requirements are set.
7. Liability
Volkswagen AG accepts liability for cases of intent or gross negligence, in accordance with the German Product Liability Act, and for guarantees expressly given by Volkswagen AG. In cases of minor negligence Volkswagen AG accepts liability only in the event of infringement of an essential obligation, whereby the sum of any related claims for damages is limited to the extent of the foreseeable loss.
From a technical point of view, failure-free operation of the Internet pages is not possible. Failure may on occasion lead to delays, such as message transfer hold-ups. Volkswagen AG shall not be liable for claims arising from the use or temporary unavailability of the services.
8. Changes to the scope of performance and to the Conditions of Use
Volkswagen AG reserves the right to expand or reduce the service provided, or modify its functionality, in whole or in part, at any time. The rapid development of the Internet makes it necessary for us to amend these Conditions of Use from time to time. Please refer to the latest applicable version of the Conditions of Use in this respect.
10. Choice of law
The use of services and these Conditions of Use are subject to German law, with the exception of the conflict of laws provisions contained in it. In case of dispute the German Translation of these terms and conditions shall be referred to.
11. Severability Clause
If any provisions of these Conditions of Use is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other provisions of these Conditions of Use which can be given effect without the invalid provision, and to this end the provisions of these Conditions of Use are severable. In lieu thereof shall be added a provision as similar in economic sense and purpose to such illegal, invalid and unenforceable provision as may be possible and be legal, valid and enforceable.
12 Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
This website and these Conditions of Use shall be subject to German law. The place of jurisdiction for any disputes shall be the competent court for the registered office of Volkswagen AG. In case of dispute the German version of these Consitions of Use shall be applied.
Data Protection Declaration
Your privacy when using Volkswagen eTraining is important to us. Consequently, we would ask you to take note of the following information:
Volkswagen eTraining (the “Site”) may collect non-sensitive employee data, including your first name, surname, email address and dealer number for training, scheduling and tracking purposes. However, Volkswagen eTraining will not collect any further personal information from you.

We will use this information to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. You will also be able to track your personal progress and you will automatically receive learning recommendations. All kind of statistical evaluation is done anonymously.

All answers in eTraining are given voluntarily. You have the right to deny answers without any negative consequences.

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on the Site. All amended terms automatically take effect 15 days after they are initially posted on the Site. If you have any questions, please refer to the Help section or contact us via the contact form.
System Requirements

1. Browser
For optimal viewing of the Volkswagen websites we recommend the following browser settings:
Volkswagen eTraining can be used on Microsoft Internet Explorer (min version 6.X) and Mozilla Firefox (min. 1.05).
Internet Explorer: In Internet Explorer, to avoid problems click "Tools" - "Internet Options" and select the "Advanced" tab. In the lower third of the "Advanced" tab, under "Multimedia", tick the "Show pictures" option. Click "Tools"- "Internet Options" and select the "Security" tab. Click "Custom Level" and under "Scripting" - "Active Scripting" choose "Enable".
2. Recommended Plug-ins
We recommend the following plug-ins to ensure a proper functionality of eTraining.
- Acrobat Reader: The Portable Document Format (PDF) presents texts and images in the same layout for every computer. PDF files are also relatively small and can therefore be downloaded quickly. You need the Acrobat Reader to display PDF files. The program can be downloaded free of charge. Download and installation only take a few minutes.
- Macromedia Flash: Macromedia Flash is used to play back animations and reproduce sounds and other Internet effects. The Flash plug-in is integrated into most present-day browsers, and is needed for most of the pages on the Volkswagen websites. Flash version 8.0 is required as a minimum.
3. Use of Cookies: This web site makes use of cookies to track visitor sessions. No personal information is stored in the cookie that is issued by the site. The value stored in this cookie is an anonymous identifier, which is not linked to any other personal information you may give us during your visit.
